Below is a list of best places I would visit on a trip to this location. My picks fit my personality and interest. Everyone has a different interest so you may not like everything I listed which is fine. If you like a place, I recommend saving it to Google Maps for a future trip down the road. With the cost of a hotel room, I'm pricing a queen bed for two people for a night on the weekend, and the amount shown is before taxes. Watch Pelicans Game during the summer, a Class A affiliate team of the Chicago Cubs. They won the Carolina League championship back in 2016. If you are 21 over, the best night to go would be Thirsty Thursday when the beer is at a bargain.

Myrtle Beach is known to be the mini-golf capital of the world; this 18-hole course with a 40-foot active volcano is the granddaddy of them all. Hawaiian Rumble has been rated #1 mini-golf course in the world by PGA of Mini Golf, Golf Magazine, and Travel Channel.

- Ripley's Aquarium of Myrtle Beach

The main attraction at Broadway at the Beach, an outdoor entertainment complex with shopping and restaurants. The best part of the aquarium is Dangerous Reef, a 340-foot long moving sidewalk inside a transparent tunnel surrounding by water, giant stingrays, and sharks. New for 2020, Penguins Playhouse, their biggest expansion, with eight new tanks and world-class penguin habitat.

One of the best hamburger places in the Myrtle Beach area. My burger would be the "Fried Mac & Cheese Burger," which is a burger with melted American cheese topped with a breaded cake of fried mac & cheese. Other notables - Peanut Butter Banana Burger and Cheetos Burger.
- Fenway Grille & Ice Cream

One of the best hotdog places in the North Myrtle Beach area. I always order at least two dogs; my hotdog pick would be "Frito Pickle Dog," which is a beef frank, pickle spear, corn Fritos and chili. The other hotdog would be "Pig Pickin Dog," which is a bacon dog with sweet BBQ sauce, baked beans, and slaw. I would also order a side of chili cheese fries to go along with the hotdog.

Best pizza places in the North Myrtle Beach area. They were voted best pizza along the Grand Strand by the readers of the local paper. My pizza pick would be "Lasagna Pizza," which is marinara base topped with ground beef, ricotta, parmesan, basil, and oregano.

A milkshake bar that opened June 2020 at 810 Market Common Bowling Complex that creates "No way you can finish that" type of milkshakes to a long line of people since their opening. The demands have been high; I have been hearing about 45 minute wait times with all happy customers. My pick would be the "All American" shake - vanilla ice cream in a mason jar rimmed with vanilla frosting and cinnamon toast crunch, topped with whipped cream, a slice of apple pie with caramel apples and throw some sprinkle on for some fun.

- Avista Resort
300 N Ocean Blvd, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582
The location of the resort played a main role in picking Avista Resort over other hotels in the Grand Strand area. In my opinion, I feel more safe walking around North Myrtle Beach in the evening than Myrtle Beach. Also, the beaches are not as crowded when compared to Myrtle Beach too. A few places on my list are within walking distance of Avista Resort-like Main Line Pizza and Melt.

- Ocean Lakes Family Campground
6001 S Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29575
At 310 acres, it is the largest campground on the east coast and one of the largest in the United States. It located right at the beach, wake up in the morning, you step outside your camper, and you are only a few feet from the ocean. Ocean Lakes Family Campground Named 2017 “Mega Park of the Year” by the National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds, which they won this award six times.

The best feature of the resort is the almost 3 acres of Caribbean themed pool real estate. The swim-up pool bar was rank #1 in the United States by TripAdvisor, so no need to leave the pool for a frozen margarita. North Beach Plantation has an award-winning steakhouse on the property, 21 Main

- Twelve 33 Distillery

Twelve 33 Distillery produces different vodka, rum, whiskey, and gin, all ingredients sourced from local farms. The theme of the distillery is heavy on the prohibition era, which was an exciting time. They offer behind the scene tours of the distillery that ends with a tasting. Two interesting flavors I would try, Carolina Peach Vodka and the other being 3 Pepper Vodka so I can see how much heat carried from the Carolina Reaper to the vodka.
- New South Brewing
1109 Campbell St, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
New South Brewing is the second-oldest brewery in South Carolina, and the brewery started back in 1998. The taproom is open every day except on Monday. My pick for top two beers to try, Drink A Peach (white ale with peach purée) and Dark Star Porter (winter seasonal black ale).
- Duplin Winery
4650 Hwy 17 S, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582
Duplin Winery is the oldest and largest winery in the South. Their second location is in Rose Hill, North Carolina. Many different varieties of wine, one of my favorites, is the Blackberry Wine (100% pure North Carolina blackberries). Most relaxing to listen to live music on the patio while enjoying a glass of wine after your initial wine tasting.

- The Swamp Park
5550 Watts Rd SW, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469
The Swamp Park has plenty of activities to choose from - zipline canopy course, guided ATV tours, swamp boat tours, and an ariel adventure park. The Cypress Canopy Tour, ten zip lines course, which makes it the longest tour on the east coast. When watching their video on the Swamp Park website, you can tell that this place is a unique experience.
